Why Choose A House Air Purifiers?

2-house-air-purifiersIn purchasing house air purifiers for your home, it would be beneficial to do a little online research in preparation for your trip to the store. Those who suffer from seasonal allergies, asthma or other respiratory illnesses, breathing polluted air on a regular basis can be painful or even cause further degradation of health. The way to avoid this type of debilitating illness is installing an air purification system in your home.

Over time, the hunter heap filters in all of the smaller units would need to be changed and cleaned, while a whole house air purifier only requires one filter change every few months saving you time and money. In addition, whole house air purifiers require very little in terms of maintenance costs; with regular servicing, they can last up to 20 years. Even if you forget or simply don’t have the cash for unit upkeep, your whole house air purifier model will still last considerably longer than single-room air purifiers: that’s the difference in quality and sturdiness.

Unlike single-room air purifiers, whole house air purifiers can be installed on your home’s ductwork, connecting the purifier to your furnace or central air. The whole house air purifier would then be able to cleanse your entire home, functioning in correlation with your other air circulation systems. In addition, whole house air purifiers are placed in areas of the house where you will have limited visibility of the unit. Although they are larger than single-room air purifiers, whole house air purifiers use powerful ionization and oxidization systems to cleanse the air in your home.

After your whole house air purifier has been installed, not only will you breathe clean, fresh air, but you’ll also feel much healthier. With only a little required maintenance and a filter change every few months, a whole house air purifier will certainly provide you and your household with a convenient and aesthetically pleasing option to purifying your home’s air.

Whole house air purifiers can be a great way to clean the air in your home from one central location, but may not be strong enough to eliminate all the particulates that affect particularly sensitive people. So if you are looking for an allergy relief air purifier, or have a particular sensitivity to chemicals or odors, then blueair air purifier might be most suitable for you.

IQAir Air Purifiers

Try IQAir Healthpro for The Best Air Purifier

1-iqair-air-purifiersNowadays, natural pure air is nearly impossible to get (unless you’re living in one of remote mountains, that is). This of course is a sad fact, while The Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America estimates that 50 million Americans suffer from all types of allergies (that is, 1 in 5 Americans or almost 20%).

One of the best house air purifiers system is IQAir that came as the winner of the test by Hong Kong Government to find the most efficient, reliable, flexible and cost effective solution, back to those time where SARS was threatening to a high degree. The selection process was carried out by the Hong Kong Government. They evaluated the suitability and performance of many filtration systems, including IQAir. With the help of a laser particle counter the EMSD tested the actual filtration efficiency of each filtration system.

The efficiency tests quickly verified that most of the systems fell well short of the removing airborne particulates with an actual efficiency in excess or 99.97% for particles of 0.3um and larger. With it’s certified and independently type-tested filtration efficiency IQAir passed this test.

In the case of a SARS emergency, the self-contained mobile IQAir filtration system can immediately be positioned next to the SARS patient’s bed. The flexible suction arm is positioned near the patients face to capture airborne droplets that are expelled by coughing and sneezing. The contaminated air is then drawn into the system and filtered in a 3-stage filtration process. At the final filtration stage IQAir’s independently type-tested Hunter HEPA filters will remove even the tiniest of airborne particulates, including the SARS virus, with a minimum efficiency of 99.5%. As a result the risk of infection within the patient’s room can be greatly reduced, thus providing a safer working environment for health-care personnel and reducing the possibility of spreading of the disease.

IQAir systems have been used at many world-leading health-care and research institutions, including Harvard University, King’s College Hospital, German Allergy & Asthma Society, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (M.I.T.), University Health Network, Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation, and many more.

Nowadays IQAir system is available in several variants, for example: IQAir Healthpro Plus Air Purifier, IQAir Healthpro Compact Air Purifier and IQAir Healthpro Air Purifier.

There are many more air purification products out there on the market today. You will probably want to do your own research by talking to people who have air purifiers, looking online, asking your doctor or other health professional, and getting as much information as you can. The air we breathe affects us every moment of our lives-make sure to make the most of it.

Filterless Air Purifier

Why Do You Use Filterless Air Purifier

10-filterless-air-purifierA filterless air purifier or air cleaner is a purifier that does not use a filter in its cleaning mechanism. Why would you care about whether your air cleaner uses filter or not, as long as it does its job well? Perhaps you do not want to spend extra money on buying replacement filters, and do not want any surprises with filter costs. Finally, you may simply hope that a filterless air purifier needs less maintenance in terms of your time and effort.

If you want to go filterless, then your main option is an electronic or electrostatic air purifier (also known as ionic air purifier or electrostatic precipitator). How does this no filter purifier work? First the air is ionized in a wire-plate section of the cleaner. Then the charged particles of contaminants are attracted by static electricity and trapped in a plate-to-plate collection system. The action of such a device can also be enhanced with a fan, though a fan is not a necessary part for such a house air purifier to work. Note that in a filter-based air purifier, such as a HEPA air cleaner, the fan, with its noise, is the essential part of the cleaning mechanism.

Practically any air cleaning device, even a filterless air purifier, still needs some maintenance sooner or later. With an electrostatic air cleaner you will need to clean the plates of the electrostatic precipitation system. How easy is this task depends on the specific model of your air cleaner.

The majority of aircleaners sold as not needing replacement air filter media are electronic: electrostatic precipitators. This category includes market volume leaders Ionic Breeze, Oreck air purifier, Blueair air purifiers and Friedrich C90 air cleaners, as well as a host of imitators. These machines electrically charge airborne impurities and then gather them on an oppositely charged plate. Inside the air purifier! Over time, especially where there is oily residue from cigarette smoking or grease frying, the plates build up an oxidized film layer. So filterless air cleaners sometimes end up being the filter.

Electrostatic filtering has no ability to remove chemicals or odors. Ozone will do this, which is why many top sellers continue to produce ozone despite negative publicity. If they stopped generating ozone, would their air purifiers continue to please users?

Some electrostatic builders add prefilters and carbon pad postfilters to compensate for the above defects. By doing this, they are no longer filterless air purifiers. Filterless benefits are partially eliminated, since these added filters can be pricey. So leading electrostatic “filterless” air cleaning devices may actually have filters, or have problems and limitations not featured in advertising.
